Thousand Trails Video Tour: Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort
This week, Jimmy and Lisa of Find Us Camping had the opportunity to visit and shoot video at a great Thousand Trails campground, the Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
This is a very nice Thousand Trails campground located just a short drive from historic Colonial Williamsburg. You’ll see the entire campground as we show you the sites, sounds, and features of the Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort.
Campground amenities
The Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort has over 150 sites. All RV sites are both 30 & 50-amp service with cable TV for an additional fee. Nestled in the woods, this Thousand Trails campground is one of your best picks if you are looking for a campground with a lot of shade.
Williamsburg RV & Camping Resort has a very nice pool with a smaller kiddie pool surrounded by a large area just to lay around and relax. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub that are open year-round.
What to do in Williamsburg, VA
There are many historical areas in Virginia and this Thousand Trails campground is located in one of them, Williamsburg. Not too far away are both Jamestown and Yorktown. If amusement parks are your thing, you will love that the famed Busch Gardens and Water Country USA are only about 8 miles from the park.
Where to eat in Williamsburg, VA
Dozens of local restaurants are just a short drive away from this Thousand Trails campground. From BBQ and burgers to Italian or Mexican, you can find it all in and around Williamsburg.
Some of our favorites include Pierce’s BBQ, Two Drummers Smokehouse, Rick’s Cheesesteaks, Jose Tequilas, and Anna’s Brick Oven Pizza. Don’t forget breakfast either, there are several great options for breakfast too! One of our favorites is Honey Butter’s Kitchen.
