Arkto Campers has rolled out the new 2025 G12 off-road trailer. The Edmonton, Alberta, Canada-based manufacturer is upping the G12 ante with updates to make off-grid living easier than ever.

“For the last two years, we have implemented running changes and improvements to the G12,” said Arkto Campers Principal Aaron Nerenberg. “For the 2025 model year, we decided to draw a line in the sand and roll several key changes, options, and packages out at once. Adding features like an Electric-Lift Roof System and the Stay Longer Package will take the G12 far beyond the competition and into a league of its own.”

All-New for 2025

Notable changes to the 2025 G12 include the new REDARC Manager30 Battery Management System, Rogue Distribution Module, and RedVision display. This system allows owners to charge the trailer’s batteries via an Anderson Plug from their tow vehicle at 30 amps. Also included is a smartphone app that allows for full control and monitoring of the electrical system, including control of the lights and water pump.

More big news: the G12 will now feature an optional Electric-Lift Roof. The G12’s standard roof system features unique Y-brackets to prevent the roof from shifting, pinching, or binding up during the opening/closing process. The optional electric-lift roof simplifies campsite setup and breakdown and also enables the installation of an optional 1,000-watt solar array and an air conditioning unit.

The pop-up roof creates an interior living space height of 6 feet 8 inches, while the elevated bed design supplements the G12’s class-leading storage capability.

Outside, the G12’s kitchen has been redesigned with powdercoated aluminum and a marine-grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) countertop. It features two push-to-open drawers, soap cubby, towel rack, dish rack, folding countertop, and a propane quick-connect. The G12 utilizes a carrier that houses the gas and plumbing lines. This allows for the plumbing and gas lines to remain connected at all times.

Further exterior changes will include two new colors, including Jeep’s “Sarge Green,” and a redesigned tire carrier that weighs 20 pounds less than the original.

The Arkto Campers G12 Stay Longer Package

Arkto Campers has developed the Stay Longer Package for more intrepid explorers. This package should enable campers to stay as many as three weeks in one spot completely off grid.

This optional package ($12,000) includes up to 945 amp hours in lithium-ion batteries and up to 1,600 watts of solar-panel power. The panels are controlled by REDARC’s forthcoming Manager100 battery management system.

Details

  • 945 amp-hour LiFePO4 battery system
  • 1,000 watts of rooftop and 600 watts of portable solar panels
  • REDARC Manager100
  • Charging via shorepower, solar, and/or DC-DC (Anderson Plug), up to 100 amps

Pricing for the 2025 Arkto Campers G12 starts at $50,000 USD. Production begins in July. Learn more about Arkto Campers at https://www.arktocampers.com/.
