They replaced it and I traveled 2000 miles and it set for 4 months. I went with the Trailer backup camera setup available from Ford for my 2020 F350 Platinum. ( Customer-Placed Trailer Camera & TPMS) My RV dealer quoted $650 to run the cable.
I wrapped the cable with industrial grade spiral wrap (about $30) for hydraulic hose for protection and routed it under my 41′ 5th Wheel, I leveraged 3M tie wrap anchors and tie wraps.($10) The color of wrap blends with RV, trim, rear ladder, etc. Took me about 2 hours .

I installed the Furrion 7 System on my 35’ travel trailer and it works fantastic. Easy to install, sharp clarity and the 7” monitor helps with my “older” eyesight. Both side cameras conveniently replaced side marker lights. It was pricey but for me it was worth it. I highly recommend this system.
