The Camco’s are not good at all. they freeze up at about -8 – -10c. have gone through four hoses in the last year.
There is a mistake on the power consumption of the no-freeze heated water hose. It actually uses 1.5A max per 25 foot length (< 200W), and that is only when it is very cold. You might have pulled the number 2.5kWh from the website, which is the amount of electricity used in a day (kilowatt-hours), not the amount used instantaneously (< 200W)
