The start of a new year is always exciting, especially for RVers. We also consider it awards season, and we’re here to highlight our top luxury Class C motorhomes for 2023.

Class C RVs are very popular motorhomes because they combine the best of both worlds. They provide plenty of space and high-quality amenities (similar to Class A RVs) but they’re still reasonably sized and are easy to maneuver on the open road (similar to Class B RVs).

It can be hard to pick the definitive “best” luxury Class C RV because there are so many different designs, makes, and models. However, in the list below, we’ve selected our overall favorite 2023 design, as well as additional models that are ideal for families and those who want extra storage space. What do you think about our choices for luxury Class C RV for the past year? We’d love to hear from you in the comments.

Best Overall: Jayco Seneca 37K

  • Total Vehicle Length: 39′ 4″
  • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 31,000 lbs
  • Fresh Water/Grey Water/Black Water: 72 gal/51 gal/40 gal
  • Slideouts: 1

The Seneca 37K provides a perfect blend of storage space, great amenities, and a nice separation of space. Jayco has been in the business for a long time, so they know exactly what they’re doing in terms of floorplan design.

It only has one slideout, but it’s a full-wall curbside slide. This adds a lot of extra space in the kitchen/living/dining room. As an added bonus, this model comes with two bathrooms, which is excellent when you’re traveling with larger groups. Now you don’t all need to crowd into one tiny bathroom and argue about whose turn it is next.

The rear section of this floorplan contains the master bedroom and a connected bathroom. The bathroom sits along the back wall and spans the entire width of the RV. There’s room for a toilet, shower, sink, wrap-around vanity, wardrobe, and a medicine cabinet. The connected bedroom has space for a king bed, a stackable washer/dryer setup, a TV, a wardrobe, and lots of storage cabinets. It’s a nice peaceful setup that parents will love.

The rest of the floorplan is one unified space. With the slideout extended, there’s a good amount of elbow room and open floor space. You won’t feel crowded in here. The slideout contains a few essential pieces of furniture, such as a large reclining sofa, a booth-style dinette, and a large stand-up pantry.

These are placed on the wall that’s directly opposite the kitchen setup. The kitchenette has an extendable L-shaped counter, a stove, a sink, a microwave, a residential refrigerator, and plenty of storage space above and below the counter. Additionally, there’s a small half-bath tucked into the corner between the kitchen and the rear bedroom. A fireplace and entertainment center are mounted on the exterior wall of the bathroom.

Finally, there’s the driver’s cabin, which features a pair of comfortable captain’s chairs, a high-tech dashboard, and all the cupholders you could ask for! An additional bunk bed is located above this cabin, so there’s extra sleeping space if you need it. To learn more about this luxury Class C RV, visit the product page on jayco.com

Best Bunkhouse Model: Entegra Esteem 31F

  • Total Vehicle Length: 32′ 6″
  • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 14,500 lbs
  • Fresh Water/Grey Water/Black Water: 47 gal/41 gal/31 gal
  • Slideouts: 1

Entegra Coach is a wonderful brand that has become well-known for its luxury RV designs. The Esteem fits right in with the rest of the manufacturer’s catalog, but the 31F stands out because it’s a bunkhouse model.

It can be hard to comfortably fit multiple people into a single floorplan but this model has plenty of places to sleep, a centrally located bathroom, and places for everyone to rest and relax. For those who want to travel with large groups of children or friends, this design is worth looking into.

The main bedroom in the Entegra Esteem 31F is located at the back of the vehicle. Most of the room is occupied by the queen bed, but there’s still space for nightstands on either side, a wardrobe with mirrored doors, and a cabinet with a TV mounted on the front.

A sliding door leads into a small hallway that connects the bedroom to the main living room. Along one side of the hallway is a nook that contains a pair of bunk beds. Each of these beds measures 28-by-72 inches and they come with their own tablet holders so the occupants can entertain themselves.

A full bathroom is located on the other side of the hallway and can be accessed from the rear bedroom or from the hallway. There’s a curved shower in the corner, a toilet, a sink, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and a small set of overhead cabinets.

The remainder of the floorplan is dedicated to the living room/kitchen. The kitchen is compact and has a wedge-shaped counter that contains a dual-basin sink, a triple burner stove, a microwave, and some overhead cabinets. A booth-style dinette sits right next to the kitchen.

On the opposite wall is a jackknife sofa that doubles as an extra sleeping space. In addition, there’s a refrigerator, a pantry, and additional storage cabinets. Finally, an extra bunk is located above the cab. When you tally up all the potential places to sleep here, the passenger capacity is around six or seven. This is pretty impressive for a vehicle that’s only about 32 feet long. If you’re interested in this luxury Class C RV, check out entegracoach.com for more details.

Best Toy Hauler/Garage Model: Thor Outlaw 29T

  • Total Vehicle Length: 31′ 2″
  • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 14,500 lbs
  • Fresh Water/Grey Water/Black Water: 40 gal/34 gal/30 gal
  • Slideouts: 1

Thor creates a wide variety of RVs, but its motorhomes are some of its top-selling items. There are lots of floorplans in the Thor catalog that are worth exploring, but the Outlaw Class C 29T is notable because it comes with a sizeable garage space. This is a rarity in Class C RVs, especially those that are less than 35 feet long. If storage space is a priority for you, this might be the best luxury Class C RV on the market.

The back half of this vehicle is a dedicated storage/garage space. The space is eight feet wide and 10 feet long so it’s perfect for storing bulky equipment and maybe even some small recreational vehicles. The garage is pretty empty so you can maximize your storage, but there are a couple of storage cabinets and shelves tucked into the corners.

Because the garage occupies so much space in the floorplan, everything else is fairly compact. However, it still serves as a comfortable RV that can sleep up to four people. A full-width bathroom separates the garage from the rest of the floorplan. It has space for a shower, toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, and a spacious vanity.

In the space beyond, there’s a single slideout to provide extra walking room. This slideout contains a large closet and a two-person sofa/murphy bed. A pair of removable pedestal tables sit at the foot of the sofa, so this space can also double as a dinette. The opposite wall hosts the kitchen. It’s compact, but consists of a refrigerator, a triple-burner stove, a microwave, a sink, and lots of storage cabinets. There’s also an extra bunk above the driver’s cabin to provide an extra sleeping spot.

The design of the Outlaw Class C 29T is a bit unorthodox, but it might be just the thing you need if you want a good blend of comfort and storage space. To learn more about this floorplan, visit thormotorcoach.com
