Jayco 2023 Pinnacle 38FLGS

First up, we have a fifth wheel design from Jayco. This brand makes RVs of all shapes and sizes, but their 2023 fifth wheel floor plans definitely stand out from the crowd. First of all, this one breaks the mold because the main bedroom is located in the rear.

The back of the RV

Almost every other fifth wheel puts the bedroom at the front, but the decision to move it to the rear gives them much more flexibility in terms of design. For instance, there’s room for a massive rear bathroom that’s totally private. This bathroom occupies the back portion of the RV and has room for a long L-shaped vanity, two sinks, a toilet, a walk-in shower, and a stackable washer/dryer prep area.

The main bedroom is directly connected to this bathroom. There’s a large king-size bed within a slideout, so there’s plenty of space to move around once everything is extended. The bed faces a pair of large wardrobes and a dresser.

The center module of this fifth wheel contains the kitchen and dining room. One slideout contains most of the kitchen appliances, including a huge residential refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, and storage cabinets.

A kitchen island and dining table occupy the center of the room. These two areas can connect, forming a large space to work, eat, and prepare food. A large storage hutch against one wall completes the space. A small half bath also sits against one wall. This is perfect because it’s easy for everyone to access without going through the main bedroom.

The front of the RV

Finally, the front portion of this fifth wheel is dedicated to the living room (which can also serve as a second bedroom if necessary). This room features opposing slideouts to make it more spacious. A tri-fold sofa sits within each slideout, and each one can transform into a full-size bed.

A set of theater seats occupies the front wall, and it faces the fireplace and entertainment center on the opposite wall. It also feels separated from the rest of the floor plan, which makes it a great place to relax and unwind.

CrossRoads Volante VLL-3601F

Next up, we have one of the best luxury fifth wheels from CrossRoads RV. The VLL-3601F is one of their most popular designs, and for good reason! If you plan on traveling with kids or other large groups in an RV, this might be the perfect place for you to do so. This design features two full bathrooms, several convertible sleeping spaces, and a grand total of five slideouts to expand the floor plan.

The front of the RV

The main bedroom is located at the front of the RV. There’s room for a wardrobe that stretches across the entire width of the vehicle, a queen-size bed, and a spacious dresser. This bedroom connects to a small but fully functional bathroom. There’s space for a toilet, curved corner shower, sink, and medicine cabinet.

This bathroom has two entrances, one from the bedroom and one from the hallway. This makes it easy for everyone to access it without disturbing the privacy of the front bedroom.

The middle portion of this fifth wheel functions as the kitchen, dining room, and even the living room. There are opposing slideouts in this space to make it feel bigger. One slideout contains kitchen appliances like the refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The other one holds a table dinette and a small tri-fold sofa that can convert into an extra bed.

The remaining wall space is dedicated to a hutch, a countertop, a pantry, and a combination fireplace/entertainment center. A kitchen island with a sink sits in the center of the room.

The back of the RV

Finally, the rear portion of this fifth wheel serves as a second bedroom. This one is perfect if you have a lot of kids traveling with you. One slideout contains a jack-knife sofa that can convert into a bed. There’s also a flip-up bunk bed above this space.

On the opposite side of the room, there’s a loft area with a second bunk. Finally, the very back of this floor plan is dedicated to a second full bathroom. This one spans the entire width of the RV and has room for a shower, toilet, sink, storage cabinets, and a washer/dryer area.

Grand Design Solitude 391DL

If you’re in the market for luxury fifth wheels, the RVs in the Grand Design catalog should definitely be on your list! The 391DL is interesting because it contains two separate master bedrooms (one on each end of the RV).

Some people need extra sleeping space but don’t particularly like bunk beds or pull-out couches. In this case, why not opt for a design that provides two high-quality bedrooms, each with its own attached bathroom? This way, everyone can enjoy their stay and sleep comfortably.

The front of the RV

The first bedroom is located at the front of the RV. It has a full-width wardrobe, a washer/dryer prep area, a dresser, and a queen-size bed that sits partially within a slideout. A full bathroom sits in the hall just outside of this bedroom. It contains a shower with a skylight and a built-in seat, a toilet, a sink, and a vanity.

The center portion of this vehicle is dedicated to the kitchen and dining room. Two large opposing slideouts expand this space and hold most of the furniture and appliances. One slideout contains the residential refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, entertainment center, fireplace, and tons of overhead storage cabinets.

The slideout on the opposite wall has a pair of theater seats and a table-style dinette. It’s all freestanding, so you can add, remove, and rearrange things as you see fit. A kitchen island sits in the middle of the room, and it has a sink and a dishwasher prep setup. A pantry and hutch fill the remaining wall space along the sides.

The back of the RV

The back part of this fifth wheel contains the second bedroom and bathroom. Once again, there are opposing slideouts on either wall. One holds part of the queen-size bed, while the other contains a wardrobe and an LED TV. A lofted area is installed above the bed, and it’s the perfect place for extra storage.

Finally, the very back of this fifth wheel contains the attached bathroom for the second bedroom. This spans the width of the vehicle and contains a shower, toilet, and sink.
