A Look Inside The 2022 Grand Design Reflection Fifth Wheel
Grand Design produces its innovative products with the goal of providing its customers with the best possible experience. They really want to go above and beyond customer expectations and it shows.
Grand Design obviously planned out the 2022 Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel with this goal in mind. Grand Design has great confidence in its product quality and longevity. The company even backs all fifth-wheels in its Reflection lineup with a three-year structural warranty and an 18-year warranty on the roof.
Grand Design Reflection floorplans
Reflection comes in seven luxurious floorplans that have an Unloaded Vehicle Weight (UVW) range between 9,854 lbs for a 31-foot model and 12,552 lbs for the largest 41-foot floorplan. These fifth wheels were obviously designed to keep you comfortable during longer-term stays. They are loaded with features that make them well suited for use in full-time RV life.
The Grand Design Reflection combines luxury, value, and towability in every aspect of its design. Both the interior and exterior have thoughtful features designed to surprise and delight customers.
Exterior features
The Reflection’s features begin on the outside. You’ll find spacious passthrough heated basement storage areas with split doors. Basement access is thoughtfully designed with split doors so that when you need access something, you won’t let a bunch of warm air out of the basement storage area.
Reflection rides on a Morryde CRE3000 suspension, which makes for better towability and more protection from shock on bumpy roads. A rotating stairset helps to keep debris out of the trailer and is fully removable in the unfortunate event that you need to park very close to a neighboring RV. Leveling this fifth wheel is nearly effortless with the easy one-touch auto-leveling system.
Up on the roof of the 2022 Reflection, you’ll find a 370-watt solar panel to help generate electrical power when you are off grid. There’s also a Winegard 360 degree antenna that’s ready for Wi-Fi.
Stay connected
Having a flat tire when you are traveling can really be a pain. To help prevent flat tires, Reflection fifth wheels have a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system built in. These can be monitored on the Compass Connect App right from your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
The Compass Connect app makes it easy to remotely control and monitor the other Reflections Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled devices. This includes a backup camera, maintenance reminders, diagnostics, and more.
The interior
The Reflection’s seven feet of headroom make it feel airy and spacious inside. Ductless flooring eliminates the dusty buildup that can happen when stuff falls into floor ducts.
The Reflection was carefully designed for climate controlled comfort too. A big electric fireplace, furnace, air conditioner, and Arctic 4 Season insulation package will help keep you cozy in the winter and cool in the summer.
Kitchen
A chef’s kitchen gives you plenty of counter space, a stainless steel microwave, residential cooktop, and residential-style fridge. Add to that loads of gorgeous cabinetry, including a pantry that allows foodies to bring along whatever they need to create amazing meals.
Living area
In the living room you’ll find comfortable sofas, including a model-specific tri-fold hide-a-bed sofa, a large TV, a console, and a fireplace.
Bedrooms
Depending on the floorplan, Reflection offers a master bedroom with a comfortable, 60×80″ bed with underbed storage and plenty of storage. Three floorplans also offer a separate bunkroom for friends or family who come camping with you.
Bathroom
All floorplans have a spacious bathroom, including a comfortably sized shower with a glass, residential sink, and porcelain toilet.
