The 5 Best RVs With A Fireplace

As winter approaches, you might look around at the selection of RVs and notice that they’re lacking a fireplace. This feature doesn’t come standard in every RV, and most people who want them plan to use their campers all year long (including during the colder months). An RV fireplace can add a feeling of warmth and coziness, so many designs include an optional fireplace as an add-on.

As you well know, RVs come in many shapes and sizes, and there are floor plan variations for every brand. Choosing the best floor plans with an RV fireplace is no easy task, but we’ve found five options that offer a great blend of comfort and convenience.

If you feel like you’d like to cozy up next to a fire this winter, consider the RVs and motorhomes below. They may not all come standard with a fireplace, but the manufacturers of these vehicles offer packages and add-ons to ensure that everyone has access to this feature.

1. Northwood Arctic Fox 29RK

Let’s start off the list with a cold weather travel trailer. If you plan to spend the winter in an RV, you’ll want something like the Arctic Fox. This RV has superior insulation and a powerful furnace. Plus, you can always cozy up next to the optional fireplace!

Even beyond its winter prowess, this floor plan is exceptional. Its overall length is 32 feet, 3 inches, so it has a decent amount of space. The way this space is divided provides privacy for those in the main bedroom and comfort for those in the living room/kitchen.

The main bedroom sits at the front of this trailer. It includes a queen-size bed, three wardrobes, and a nice overhead storage setup. This trailer’s bathroom has two doors, so it can be easily accessed by those in the bedroom or the main living space.

Down a short hall if the living room/kitchen. A booth-style dinette and a tri-fold sofa provide convertible sleeping spaces that double as padded chairs during the day. A long L-shaped counter runs along the back wall, providing plenty of work space for those in the kitchen. If you choose an upgraded model, the fireplace is built into the lower portion of the kitchen cabinets and it faces toward the dinette.

2. Jayco North Point 382FLRB

If you’re looking for something large and luxurious, a fifth wheel might appeal to you. One of the best floor plans with an RV fireplace is the North Point 382FLRB from Jayco! It’s absolutely massive, coming it at a length of 44 feet. The interior also has a great separation of space, so everyone can enjoy some peace and privacy.

The main bedroom and bathroom of this unit are at the rear, not the front. The very back portion contains a massive bathroom that spans the width of the vehicle. There’s room for an L-shaped vanity, two sinks, a shower, toilet, and a washer/dryer prep station. The main bedroom sits next-door and it contains a queen-size bed and several closets/storage spaces.

The center module of this fifth wheel hosts the kitchen and dining area. There’s a huge residential refrigerator, a kitchen island, and a table and chairs within a slideout. A small half bath sits to the side of the kitchen so everyone can access it without going through the bedroom.

Finally, the front portion has a separate living room/entertaining space. There are two tri-fold sofas on opposing walls with a set of theater seats between them. The fireplace and entertainment center occupy the last wall.

3. Tiffin Open Road Allegro 36UA

Motorhomes are another popular type of RV and many of them have fireplaces as well. Class A RVs are ideal for those who want a large and luxurious living space. Tiffin makes some of the best Class A RVs in the world and the Open Road Allegro 36UA lives up to the company’s reputation.

The rear design of the bedroom and bathroom is somewhat similar to the fifth wheel we mentioned above. At the very back of the RV, there’s a spacious bathroom that has room for a shower, toilet, linen closet, large vanity, and even a washer/dryer prep station (although this is optional).

This bathroom connects with the bedroom, which contains a king-size bed, a pair of nightstands, a large wardrobe, and a swivel TV cabinet. A set of bunkbeds is tucked into a nook outside the main bedroom, proving extra sleeping space for large groups. There’s also a smaller half bath across from the bunks.

The remainder of the floor plan is occupied by the living room/kitchen. A sofa bed and booth-style dinette take up one wall, while the other holds all the kitchen appliances (as well as the RV fireplace and TV). Finally, there’s an optional extra bunk above the driver’s cabin. With all these sleeping options, this vehicle can host large groups with ease!

4. Dynamax DX3 37BD

Now we’ll move on to our first Class C RV on the list. These RVs tend to be a bit smaller than Class A models, but they still provide a great living space for residents. Many of them also come with fireplaces, so it’s easier to find floor plans that include them.

The Dynamax DX3 37BD is a favorite among those who want an RV fireplace in their design. This floor plan also has a nice division of space, so the bedrooms are separate from the kitchen and living room. Everyone gets to enjoy their own space in here!

The rear bedroom contains a king-size bed, two large wardrobes, and a closet that can be converted into a washer/dryer prep station. Just outside this bedroom is a pair of bunk beds and a full bathroom. The sleeping spaces may be close together, but each of them have doors for extra privacy.

The main living space contains a booth-style dinette and a tri-fold sleeper sofa on one wall. These can both convert into extra beds if necessary. Across from them is the TV, RV fireplace, and kitchen setup. There’s also a ton of overhead storage space in this design, so you can bring lots of gear without any issue.

5. Leprechaun 319MB

Finally, we’ll wrap up with another Class C RV. The Leprechaun 319MB is fairly simple compared to many other designs on this list, but it’s still comfortable and efficient for anyone who stays here.

The rear bedroom contains a queen-size bed as well as three spacious closets. You won’t have to downsize your wardrobe if you move into this RV! A long bathroom spans the width of the vehicle and separates the rear bedroom from the rest of the floor plan. The bathroom has doors on both sides, so it’s easily accessible to everyone.

In the main living space, there’s a U-shaped dinette and a sofa against one wall. The dinette and sofa face the kitchen, which includes a large refrigerator and lots of open countertop space. The fireplace sits below a lift TV on the same wall.

Finally, there’s an additional bunk above the driver’s cabin, which provides an extra place for someone to sleep. If there’s not enough room in the kitchen for you, this model also comes with an extendable camp kitchen on the outside of the vehicle.
