What Is The Best Cold Weather Travel Trailer For Winter Camping?
Travel trailers can be a wonderful home away from home, but some models just don’t hold up under cold weather conditions. A good winter trailer is essential for anyone who wants to travel during the cold months, and even more so for people who live in them year-round.

This travel trailer has a beautiful interior design with 2 slide outs, leather furniture, and warm-colored wood accents. You might be camping in the winter, but that doesn’t mean you have to huddle for warmth in a cramped space! The slide-outs give this trailer a spacious look and feel.
The bathroom, living room, and bedroom areas are all clearly divided too, which offers a nice separation of space. To add a bit of extra comfort (and to keep your feet warm) the slide-outs and bedroom area are all carpeted.
When it comes to winter amenities, the Arctic Fox has it all! The walls and ceiling all have multiple heat-saving layers and high density block foam insulation. The water holding tanks are also heated to prevent any damage or freezing.
This model comes with a 30,000 BTU furnace, which combines with the superb insulation to efficiently heat your trailer. This option will work for most of your heating needs, but there’s also an optional upgrade to add a fireplace.
This floor plan offers a good balance of storage, sleeping areas, and dining/entertaining space.

Finding the best cold weather travel trailer is a very individualized process. It all depends on the number of people you’re traveling with, where you’re going, and how much space you need. As such, there’s no true perfect travel trailer for everyone!
Below are two fantastic options though. Each of them have been highly rated for winter use, and each of them are comfortable and high-quality travel trailers.

This travel trailer is a bit smaller than the Arctic Fox, but it still manages to fit every comfort of home into an insulated and winter-safe space. The Lance 2295 also has a powerful 25,000 BTU furnace that can withstand icy temperatures with ease. A fireplace can also be added for an additional cost.
There are ducted heat systems in this trailer, as well as block foam insulation built into all the walls. The water systems are also heated and insulated to prevent any freezing or damage.
With its efficient use of space combined with the comforts of home, the Lance 2295 could easily be called the best cold weather travel trailer
