For this recommendation, I chose the 245RGX LITE travel trailer because it has a lot of great features and uses its limited space well. For those who are looking for a cozy winter home, this may be perfect for you!

Winter Package

The winter package for the Wildcat Maxx is called the Climatech Cold Weather All Seasons Insulation Package. This bundle includes a lot of great features including:

• Reflective astro-foil insulation along the underbelly
• R-7 fiberglass and 12-volt tanks underneath each holding tank to insulate and heat them
• Astro-foil and fiberglass insulation along the ceiling and floors
• All walls are bonded with foam block insulation
• Outside storage compartments contain heat ducts to keep storage from freezing
• Vented attic to let moisture escape in winter and heat escape in summer

Winter Package

Most Sierra products come with a cold weather package pre-installed. Their winter package is called the Polar Tech Package and it has everything you need to stay nice and warm through the winter. It includes:

Special Features

This layout has a large kitchen and dining area. It features an island in the center of the room, plus extra counter space next to the entertainment center. This, plus the included pantry space, overhead cabinets, and kitchen appliances make this a great setup for those who love to cook.

The main living space also contains two-person theater chairs across from an entertainment center. Along the back wall is a couch that doubles as a fold-down bed. There’s also a small bathroom off the main living area, making everything easily accessible.

The biggest selling point of this floor plan though, is the huge and luxurious master bedroom. It’s separate from the main living room and contains a queen-sized bed across from an additional TV. The Landmark 365 Lafayette is a great setup for travelling groups who want to have space to be together, as well as space to be alone. There are three segments sections of this floor plan, creating effective areas for their individual purposes.

Winter Package

Landmark fifth wheels come with a variety of built in features that make them appealing for all seasons. Fireplaces and air conditioners come standard with most vehicles, and they also offer some additional options for the winter months. This brand also offers the Yeti Extreme Cold Weather Package. The winter amenities include:

• Additional heat pump to main air conditioner

Special Features

The front end of this fifth wheel contains the main living and relaxation space. There are two sofas, plus a two-person theater seat arranged around the walls. The front wall contains the main entertainment center.

There are a couple of steps to the side of this space that lead to the kitchen and dining area. There’s a refrigerator, stove, range, and island with a kitchen sink in this space, plus overhead cabinets for additional storage. A table and set of chairs is across from this space, along with a two-person couch. A three-person sofa sits along the back wall of this fifth wheel. A TV sits adjacent to this couch, making this a great place for socializing and relaxation.

The front half of this RV contains the main bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom hosts a shower, toilet, sink, linen closet, and small storage cabinet. Jayco products come with a lot of cold weather features installed. There isn’t an additional package that is necessary to winter-proof this fifth wheel, because it has a variety of amenities that are useful to keeping it toasty during the coldest storms! Some of these built-in features include:

Like the previous fifth wheel on this list, the North Point doesn’t have a separate cold weather package. It’s built with measures in place to prevent freezing and keep heat inside. Some of the cold weather amenities it supports include:

The front of this fifth wheel contains a massive kitchen and dining area. The walls are lined with cabinets, kitchen appliances, and counter space. A padded L-shaped bench takes up a corner of the room, surrounding a table. With the huge amount of storage space, dining seating, and floor space, this is a great kitchen setup for families and large groups.

The middle of the fifth wheel holds the main living and relaxation space. There are two tri-fold sofas and a two-person theater seat which faces a fireplace and TV. This can provide extra sleeping space as well as seating.

Next to this area if the bathroom. It’s a simple setup, but easily fits a toilet, shower, sink, and additional cabinet space. On the other side of the bathroom is the main bedroom. It sports a queen-sized bed with nightstands on both sides. The bed faces a set of dressers, wardrobes, and an additional TV.
