A First Look At The 2023 Jayco Seneca Prestige
As 2022 comes to an end, it’s time to look forward to the upcoming releases of 2023! Several RV manufacturers have announced new floor plans and designs for the upcoming year. One of the most highly anticipated models is the Jayco Seneca Prestige.
Jayco is one of the biggest names in the RV industry. They make campers of every shape and size, including motorhomes. The Jayco Seneca Prestige lineup is a collection of Super Class C RVs. In 2023, customers will be able to choose their favorite option from three different floor plans.
These new models promise to live up to the standard of quality that Jayco has set over the years. Due to their nature as Super Class C RVs, these new models are larger and more luxurious than ever before. There are plenty of amenities and perks that make them stand out from the crowd. Vehicle specifications
Although there are different floor plans to choose from, the build of each vehicle is essentially the same. Their specifications are universal, despite the aesthetic differences and different arrangement of furniture. For instance, all three RVs are just under 40 feet long.
They are built on a Freightliner® chassis. It’s has a powerful engine, which is perfect for large RVs. In addition to supporting the weight of the RV, this engine is even strong enough to tow an additional car behind it. That’s an awesome perk because you can detach the car and drive it around once you reach your campsite. After all, RVs are great, but they can be pretty bulky for everyday driving.
The basic vehicle specs for a 2023 Jayco Seneca Prestige are:
- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating: 31,000 lbs.
- Exterior length: 39 feet, 4 inches
- Exterior width: 8 feet, 5 inches
- Exterior height: 13 feet, 4 inches
- Maximum width (slides extended): 12 feet, 11 inches
- Awning length: 18 feet
- Fresh water capacity: 72 gallons
- Grey water capacity: 50 gallons
- Black water capacity: 50 gallons
- Fuel capacity: 100 gallons
This is a big RV with some high-quality amenities. That 100-gallon fuel tank is a beast to fill up, but it can take you pretty much anywhere.
New floor plans
Jayco has announced three new floor plans for the 2023 release period. As mentioned above, they’re all quite similar on a technical level because they have the same fuel and water capacities, as well as the same general measurements. The main thing that changes is the layout of various elements. For example, one floor plan has a rear bathroom, while another sports a pair of bunk beds.
Let’s compare the new designs below!
37K: Sleeps up to 6 passengers
First up, we have the only model with a rear bathroom. In this design, the main bathroom spans the entire width of the vehicle, so there’s plenty of room for the shower, sink, toilet vanity, and even a wardrobe and medicine cabinet! If you need extra bathroom space, this is the floor plan for you.
Just outside of the bathroom is the main bedroom. There’s a king-size bed that sits partially within a slideout. Overhead cabinets are installed above the bed, and there are bedside tables on both sides. A long dresser, a wardrobe, and a washer-dryer prep station occupy the opposite wall.
A second bathroom sits just outside of the bedroom, so all passengers can enjoy easy access without invading the privacy of the main room. This is just a simple half bath, but it’s still large enough to fit a toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet.
The rest of the floor plan is occupied by a combination living room/kitchen. A long slide-out spans the length of this section. It contains a large reclining sofa, a booth-style dinette, a large pantry, and huge overhead storage compartments.
A TV is mounted on the angled exterior wall of the half bath. To make things even cozier, a fireplace sits right below it. The kitchen sits next to this entertainment center. This is a fairly small and compact space, but there’s enough room for a residential refrigerator, a microwave, a sink, a stove, and a bit of open countertop space. Finally, there’s another sleeping area located in the space above the driver’s cab.
37L: Sleeps up to 9 passengers
Next up we’ve got a bunkhouse model! This floor plan has the highest sleeping capacity on the list, so it’s perfect for families and large groups. In the back, we have the main bedroom. The king-size bed sits in a small slideout, and the opposite wall contains a large wardrobe and an optional washer/dryer station.
Just outside the bedroom is a small hallway. A pair of bunkbeds sit in the nook on one side. Each bed has its own mounted TV, so everybody can watch what they want! The bathroom sits on the other side of the hall. It has a long rectangular shower, a toilet, a sink, and a nice long vanity. Combined with the mounted medicine cabinet, there’s plenty of room for everyone’s toiletries.
In the main cabin, there are opposing slideouts. These make the space feel nice and open, plus there’s plenty of walkable space in the center. One slideout contains a 72-inch hide-a-bed, a booth-style dinette, and large overhead cabinets.
The other side contains a pantry, a residential refrigerator, a microwave, a sink, a stove, and extra storage space. The countertop is slightly angled to provide a larger work surface. An entertainment center and fireplace sit on another wall, easily within view of all of the seats. An additional bunk over the driver’s cab provides another comfortable sleeping nook.
37M: Sleeps up to 8 passengers
This final floor plan is fairly similar to the previous 37L design, except it’s not a bunkhouse model and the kitchen setup is a bit different.
Once again, the rear portion is dedicated to the main bedroom. The setup and amenities are almost identical to the model above, but it does come with a 32-inch TV across from the bed.
In the hall outside the main bedroom, there’s the main bathroom on one wall and the kitchen on the opposite side. A washer/dryer prep station also sits across from the bathroom, so it’s easy to throw in a load of laundry once you finish showering!
The kitchen is quite compact and fits almost perfectly in the nook across from the bathroom. There’s a residential refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, and some storage cabinets.
The remainder of the floor plan is dedicated to a large living room/dining room space. Opposing slideouts on each wall make this room more spacious, and a fireplace sits on the remaining wall. One slideout contains a booth-style dinette and a pair of theater seats.
These sit across from a jackknife sofa and a mounted TV. Overhead cabinets line each slideout as well, so there’s plenty of storage space. As always, an additional over-the-cab bunk provides one more place to relax and sleep.

The 2023 updates for Jayco Seneca Prestige are amazing! In addition to the superior build design and new floor plans, there are new upgrades and design choices for customers to enjoy.
