The wide range of floor plans

As mentioned above, the 2023 catalog of Chateau RVs includes 12 distinct floor plans. Each of these designs could have its own article, but we’ll just do a brief overview of each one. Some of the differences between floor plans are subtle, while others stand out from the crowd. However, all of them are designed to provide the perfect balance of utility and comfort.

22B: 24 feet, 1 inch long

This is one of the smallest models in the Chateau family. It has one slideout in the rear bedroom, a combination closet/pantry space, and a flip-up countertop extension. Four people can sleep comfortably in this motorhome.

22E: 24 feet, 1 inch long

Although this is the same length as the previous model, the 22E has a different rear design. It doesn’t have any slideouts but instead nestles the queen-sized bed and bathroom into the rear of the vehicle. The refrigerator also sits close to the foot of the bed, so a snack is never far away! This floor plan can sleep for people.

24F: 25 feet, 1 inch long

This floor plan includes one long slideout along the righthand wall. It holds part of the main bed, the large closet, the Dream Dinette®, and lots of overhead storage. A pantry sits right next to the refrigerator, so you can consolidate your food storage. Four people can sleep here.

25M: 25 feet, 2 inches long

The rear of this motorhome floorplan is quite unique. The very back contains a large bathroom that spans the width of the RV. There isn’t a permanent bed here either; instead, there’s a murphy bed that can serve as a couch during the day. This transforms the majority of the design into a large living room! The sleeping capacity is four people.

25V: 26 feet, 5 inches long

The 25V is the first design on the list with an upgraded sleeping capacity. This one comes with a set of twin beds at the rear, making it perfect for families. These beds can also be converted into a single king-sized bed. With the addition of the Dream Dinette® and above-cab bunk, this motorhome can sleep five people.

27R: 29 feet, 1 inch long

Now we’re getting to the big boys! This model comes with a luxurious rear bedroom, complete with a king-sized bed, private closet, and large bathroom. A large slideout along one wall expands the space of this motorhome for everyone. Seven people can sleep in this model.

28A: 29 feet, 9 inches long

Although this motorhome is fairly large, it doesn’t use any slideouts. Instead, it makes clever use of the space by incorporating a queen-sized bed at the rear, a full-width bathroom, and opposing sofas in the living room. This floor plan can accommodate six people.

28Z: 30 feet long

The 28Z is similar to the 28A in many ways. However, it’s a bit longer and utilizes a single slideout to expand the space in the kitchen/living room. The bathroom and refrigerator have also been rearranged to provide a more walkable design. Seven people can sleep here.

31E: 32 feet, 8 inches long

Their models over 30 feet long are larger and more luxurious! The 31E has a great design for families. The rear bedroom has a queen-sized bed with plenty of walking space on all sides. An accessible bathroom and a pair of bunk beds sit just outside. Combined with the jackknife sofa, Dream Dinette®, and cab bunk, there’s no shortage of sleeping space! The recommended capacity is seven people.

31EV: 32 feet, 8 inches long

Honestly, there’s not a lot of difference between the 31E and 31EV design. Their layout is almost exactly the same, although the 31EV leaves more options for the buyer. For instance, there’s a space for TV prep in the bedroom, but owners can choose to take it or leave it. Seven people can sleep here.

31W: 32 feet, 4 inches long

The 31W cuts out the bunk beds yet still provides plenty of sleeping space. In exchange, the rear of this floor plan has room for spacious closets, a pantry, and a large kitchen setup. If you want a lot of countertop space, the 31W is a great match for you. This design can sleep seven people.

31WV: 32 feet, 4 inches long

Once again, the 31W and 31WV are almost exactly alike in design and amenities. However, the 31WV is slightly cheaper because it doesn’t come standard with the bedroom TV. Seven people can comfortably sleep in this model.

Outdoor extensions

Another great thing about the 2023 Thor Chateau RVs is the outdoor experience. Although the interiors are lovingly designed, these motorhomes are also equipped with various extensions and outdoor features.

For instance, some designs come with the MEGA-Storage™ compartment, which provides plenty of space for bulky items. Other models have powered patio awnings, complete with outdoor LED lights. This feature is perfect for those who want to enjoy some fresh air! Some Chateau RVs even come with portable tables and pull-out griddles, so you’ll always have a place to cook and enjoy outdoor meals.

Finally, you can enjoy a complete entertainment setup. Many Chateau RVs have optional add-ons for outdoor TVs and a Bluetooth radio/soundbar.

High-tech additions

In addition to all the standard features, the 2023 Chateau models come with some advanced options. For example, every dashboard has a seven-inch touchscreen. There’s also a backup monitor to keep everyone safe when you park or pull out.

If you want your RV to be a bit more eco-friendly and self-sustaining, you can choose to install solar power. All Chateau RVs come with solar prep, so it’s easy to upgrade your setup.

Larger Chateau RVs have some special features. They are equipped with SmoothTECH™ Ride Enhancement, which basically an upgraded cruise control for large vehicles. Their dashboards also have access to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®.

Dream Dinette®

The Dream Dinette® is one of the best features in Chateau RVs. This is a versatile piece of furniture that can adapt to suit your needs throughout the day. As the name suggests, it acts as a booth-style dinette most of the time. The seats and comfortable and the table provides a great surface for work, food prep, or anything else!

But when nighttime rolls around and you need an extra bed, this item can transform into a comfortable bed that one or two people can share. It’s a handy addition to any RV.

New decorating options

Finally, the 2023 Thor Chateau RVs offer a variety of decoration options and color schemes. Exteriors are always white, but customers can choose a fun decal design in various shades of grey, black, red, and blue.

The main interior design choices are Home Collection Estate Grey and Harbor Blue. These are both lovely design choices that feature warm, neutral tones of grey, brown, and beige. Customers can also select between two types of cabinetry: Ivory Coast (a light cream wood) or Weathered Cherry (a natural-looking, dark wood).
