Whether it’s testing the festival food, visiting seminars, or learning about the latest and greatest in the RV world, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here.

RV show events

The 2024 Quartzsite RV Show is completely free to attend. Although most of the vendors are RV focused, there are also lots of lifestyle brands, accessories, and gadgets up for sale. You might even drive away from this event with a brand-new RV!

Every day from January 20-28, there will be panels, workshops, and seminars for visitors to enjoy. These are usually spread out between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but you can check out the full event schedule here.

Some of the vendor highlights include:

  • RV LIFE: Trip planning with RV LIFE Trip Wizard and the RV LIFE App
  • Continuous Resources LLC: Off-grid solar
  • Harvest Hosts: See how the popular Harvest Hosts RV club can make your travels better.
  • Blue Ox: Towing doesn’t have to be a drag
  • OTR (NIRVC): Tire safety
  • Jayco RV: Entegra Coach
  • Keystone RV: Keystone Montana
  • Bob Moses: Ceramic Coatings for your RV
  • And much, much more!

Tons of representatives of RV manufacturers will be in attendance, and guests will be some of the first to learn about the latest and greatest advancements in the RV industry.

Check out quartzsitervshow.com for more attendee information, as well as the full list of vendors who will be in attendance this year.

Quartzsite community events

Although the Quartzsite RV Show is the biggest event of the year for this little town, there are some other local events that are worth checking out.

A lot of major shows and festivals happen around the same time as the RV show because there are so many guests in town. If you’re getting a bit bored with all the RV stuff and want to explore the community events, you should check out some of the options below.

Desert Gardens Rock, Mineral, and Gem Show (January 1-February 29)

Quartzsite is definitely a small and unassuming town, but it is a hotspot for geology lovers! I mean, quartz is right in the name of the town. There’s a wealth of minerals, gems, and unique rock formations in this area, and they make sure to capitalize on this aspect.

There are several mineral-focused shows and vendors popping up in Quartzsite, but one of the biggest and longest-running events is the Desert Gardens Rock, Mineral, and Gem Show. This runs for almost two months, and it coincides with the Quartzsite RV Show. So, if you’re at all interested in geology or minerals, this is worth a look.

There are a variety of other rock-centric events around this time as well, but not all of them will align exactly with the Quartzsite RV Show schedule. Still, if you’re curious, you may want to explore the Tyson Wells Gem & Rock Show, or the QIA Pow Wow Gem & Mineral Show. Between all of these options, you’re guaranteed to find some amazing stuff.

Tyson Wells Sell-A-Rama (January 20-29)

For those who love antiques, crafts, and thrifting, the Tyson Well Sell-A-Rama is perfect for you. This place offers a perfect cross-section of new and old items for sale. Because minerals and geology will always play a part in this part of Arizona, you’ll be sure to find lots of booths that include interesting gems and minerals. However, there are also fun crafts, artwork from locals, and more fair food than you could possibly eat!

This event aligns almost perfectly with the RV show, so you can easily visit both events. If you get tired of one, check out the other. They’re located pretty close to each other because Quartzsite is such a small town. Pick up some fun souvenirs, try some new food, and explore the local art scene in this area.

Tyson Wells Arts and Crafts Fair (January 19-28)

If you plan to stick around for a few days after the RV show wraps up, you might be able to hit the early days of the Tyson Well Arts and Crafts Fair.

This covers just over two miles of aisle frontage and brings in craftsmen from miles around. Between all the vendors and options, you’ll find a huge variety of fun crafts, beautiful art, and funky decorations. If you want to spice up your RV interior a bit, this could be a great place to shop.

Prospectors Panorama (January 2-30)

Gems, crystals and minerals from around the world. Sold retail or wholesale. See gorgeous specimens of all sizes, and take some home with you too!

Local attractions

Quartzsite Museum

Visiting local museums is a great way to learn about the history and culture of different parts of the country. Although Quartzsite is small, it has its own little local museum that you may enjoy visiting. This town has a rich history because it was a popular area for mining during the early days.

The museum contains lots of local artifacts, interesting geological finds, and information about the town’s founding. Several old buildings have been restored and maintained so that visitors can fully enjoy them. If you’re a fan of museums, give this place a try!

Hi Jolly’s Tomb

If you want to visit an interesting local landmark, check out the tomb of Hi Jolly. This tomb serves as a monument to Hadji Ali (affectionately nicknamed Hi Jolly). This man was born in Syria and was tasked with introducing camels to the American Southwest in 1856.

He made a roundtrip between Texas and California with his team of camels. Sadly, the project was scrapped before it ever became a reality, but this man remained in the area and continued to work as a guide and courier. He was beloved in the community, and they wanted to honor him after he died.

This tomb is marked with a bronze camel on top and it’s totally free to visit. This is a fun little tidbit of local culture, and it’s one of the most touristy things to do in Quartzsite. It might not take up much of your day, but it’s fun to say that you went anyway!

Sugarloaf Peak (Dome Rock)

This last one isn’t exactly in Quartzsite, but it’s still quite close by. If you’re camping in the area, it will be easy to reach this scenic peak. This is just a short, two-mile hike, and the peak rises about 400 feet. It provides a nice opportunity to stay active and explore the surrounding area a little bit.
