The Best RV Campers With King Size Beds

Sleeping in comfort is one of the best parts of traveling in an RV. You don’t need to worry about setting up a sleeping bag on the ground when you’ve got a cozy bed ready for you! RVs come in all shapes, sizes, and layouts now, but if size and comfort are your priorities, then you might want to explore RV campers with king size beds.

Luckily, there are tons of RVs that are designed to accommodate a king size bed in their floor plan. If you want the maximum amount of space while you sleep, one of the following campers could be the right fit for you!

Dutchmen Kodiak Ultimate 3321BHSL

The Kodiak Ultimate is an RV that lives up to its title. This is an all-around great design that is perfect for large groups and families. This travel trailer has a king size bed at the front of the unit, complete with overhead storage and a pair of nightstands. The center module contains the cooking, entertaining, and main living space with a fireplace, kitchen island, and a dinette. The back end of this camper contains a second bedroom with two top bunks, one bottom bed, and a second dinette. Kids and parents will definitely enjoy having their own space!

Grand Design Transcend 31RLK King

If you’re looking for great RV campers with king size beds, you can’t overlook Grand Design! This is a brand that makes high-quality RVs of all shapes and sizes, and they have several options for passengers who want to sleep in style.

The Transcend 31RLK comes standard with a queen size bed in the main bedroom, but they also offer an upgrade to a king for those who want it. This bed sits within a slide-out, so there is plenty of room in the bedroom to walk around and store things.

The bedroom also includes a dresser, a large walk-in closet (complete with a shoe rack), and even washer/dryer prep. This RV also comes with 2 large slide-outs in the main living space, a tri-fold sofa, and a pet drawer. It’s a nice, comfortable unit that offers a good amount of elbow room.

Puma 31FKRK

Unlike the previous campers on this list, the Palomino Puma 31FKRK has a rear bedroom instead of a front one. It has a 72″ x 80″ king bed that sits within a slide-out so the room is more maneuverable. The bedroom also has a dresser, wardrobe, and a washer/dryer prep station.

The RV bathroom sits just outside the bedroom and it includes a curved corner shower. The rest of the living space is occupied with a large kitchen and a single slide-out that contains a pair of recliners and a booth-style dinette. There is plenty of storage space built into the design as well, so you won’t need to cram everything in.

Overall, this is among the best RV campers with king size beds, and it’s especially great for couples who want to travel in comfort.

Outback Ultra Lite 210URS

This camper from Keystone RV is another great model for families to consider. The rear of this camper contains the king size bed, which occupies pretty much the whole room. There is enough room for some overhead storage, but overall this room is just designed for maximum comfort.

A set of flip-down bunk beds and a sleeper sofa are also included in this floor plan, so several people can sleep here in comfort. This camper also lives up to its “Ultra Lite” name due to its compact design. There is enough room for a dinette, bathroom, and a small kitchen. It has all the necessities you need for a family road trip, and it’s small enough to still be manageable.

2021 Harrier 6X10

When you think about RV campers with king size beds, a teardrop trailer probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. But these little trailers pack more than a few surprises!

The Harrier 6×10 from American Teardrop is a compact trailer that manages to fit a king size bed into its little frame. You’ll be sleeping in comfort here, plus you can enjoy the other amenities like the off-roading capabilities, the storage space in the back, and the beautiful birch cabinetry.

With its small frame and ~1,000 lb. weight, this is a trailer that just about any car can handle. You can enjoy the luxury of a king size bed without the hassle of a massive RV.

Jayco White Hawk 32KBS

Jayco is another top RV manufacturer, so when you’re looking for RV campers with king size beds, you can guarantee they’re got something to offer.

The 32KBS is a comfortable trailer that is perfect for couples and small groups who want to travel in style. This RV is split neatly into different sections, with each one serving a different purpose. The front half contains a spacious bedroom with a 72″ x 80″ king size bed that sits within a slide-out. There is also a dresser, fireplace, TV, bench, overhead storage, and a pair of wardrobes.

This is one of the best outfitted bedrooms on the market! In the main living space, there is an L-shaped kitchen, a U dinette, and a tri-fold sofa for extra sleeping space.

Finally, the rear of the unit includes the bathroom and a connected walk-in closet. There is plenty of storage space in here. If you want more cooking options, this unit also comes with an outside cooking setup.

  2. I wouldn’t buy an Outback no matter what kind of bed it has. We had a 31’ 2012, I believe it was, kept falling apart on us from the first month we bought it. Even after the warranty was done.

Not sure on how big the bed is, but want a well built trailer pick a Northwood. Oh and we have owned 4 trailers, so we aren’t newbies to the RV world. You’re better owning a used one than an Outback. Their beautiful but not reliable built wise. Just a fact from experience.

  3. Reminder that a standard hone king is 76×84. 4″ wider than an ‘RV King’. We have a Alpine 3712KB, and managed to squeeze our home king into the RV king space, but it was an effort.

  4. The Coachmen Freedom Express Ultra Lite is another with king bed slide and nice front kitchen, all just under 30 feet. Model is 259FKBS. We love it and it is easily half-ton towable.

  5. Emily please look at keystone cougar 22mls, it has a king size bed, is a total couples trailer, is half ton towaable and only 26 feet. My husband and I are anxiously waiting on ours. Have a great day, Diane.

  6. A king with nightstands (harder to find) was on our must-have list when shopping for our current rig. Keystone provided nightstands in the Cougar 26RBS by freeing space under half-length wardrobes. Genius!
