Popular Full-Time RVers Illustrate Journeys With Clever RV Travel Map
When Chris and Suzannah Hinton of Hinton The Trail took to full time RVing, they opted for a family friendly frog theme for their blog and YouTube channel. Followers, known as “Hoppers”, are encouraged to Hop On! by subscribing to their newsletter or to the YouTube channel. Hoppers are able to keep track of the Hinton’s by following their hops, via a clever, interactive RV travel map.
Hinton The Trail RV Travel Map Gets An Upgrade
Recently, that fun RV Travel Map received an upgrade. To view the trails the Hinton’s have been hitting, map users are told to ‘Click on a frog or lilypad to find your next adventure!’. Larger destinations are designated by a frog, while smaller recommendations are identified by a lilypad.
A Great Use Of Tech
While cute, fun, and friendly…the RV travel map on HintontheTrail.com is also an informative, unique, and sophisticated way to present some great information. Each pop-up dialogue box contains location info, a link to their video, pictures, and informative categories such as where to go, where to stay, and where to eat. There is also a link called HOW TO PLAN IT with each entry. What you end up with is a really neat way that RVers and their kids can research fun places to go RVing.
Conclusion
Finding new ways to engage the RVing audience and still keeping it fun is always a challenge. Their travel map does both. For these full time RVers, making it family friendly as well was important. Whether you choose Frog or Lilypad, check out Hinton the Trail to find great destination to go, stay, and eat.
