Top 7 Small Campers With Bathrooms
You will feel right at home on your next outdoor adventure in one of these small campers with bathrooms. These travel trailers are tough enough to go anywhere and also comfortable enough to enjoy your time while you are there.
Most of these small towables include a bed or two, a kitchenette, dining space, and a mini bathroom. Any car or SUV with a hitch can tow most of these campers.
Some have wet baths while others have dry baths. A wet bath is where everything can get wet—the sink, walls, and toilet. A dry bath is a traditional bathroom with a separate bathing/showering area. Some may not prefer a wet bath but it’s certainly better than no bath at all. This list of 7 includes both kinds of baths to help you make the best decision for your family.
1. TAB 400 Teardrop Camper
The TAB 400 is the largest and most spacious of nuCamp’s teardrop campers. Don’t let the tiny look deceive you. This small camper has a queen sleeping area, roomy kitchen, a dinette, and a wet bath.

While a wet bath is already an efficient use of space, the fold-down sink in the TAB 400 takes it to a whole new level.

This teardrop is made for adventure and can be customized with a boondocking package including off-road tires, aluminum utility platform, and a solar package, to name a few.
2. Casita Deluxe Freedom
The lightweight 17-foot Casita Freedom can be easily pulled with any vehicle. Towing this small camper is a breeze because of its low weight and aerodynamic design, which also saves on gasoline.

An ultra-strong, hail resistant, and waterproof fiberglass body comes standard with every Casita. These features make it one of the lightest and highest value retaining small campers on the road. There is even a forum group dedicated to Casita trailers on Fiberglass RV.

This small but mighty deluxe camper comes with a wet bath that includes a permanent sink. Other features include a sleek design and swivel captain’s chairs to use for dining, lounging, or working.
3. Airstream Basecamp
Of course, Airstream makes one of the best small campers with bathrooms: their newest Basecamp model takes the iconic streamlined look in a new adventurous direction.
The design, which includes panoramic windows, is inspired by this quote from founder Wally Byam.
“Venturesome spirit that moves you to follow a rainbow to its end… and thus make your travel dreams come true.”
Wally Byam, Airstream founder

The Basecamp is low-profile and aerodynamic, making it resistant to wind when towing. There is a large rear hatch door making it easy to load all your gear.

The wet bath in the Basecamp has a pass-through window allowing for an outdoor shower for yourself or your mountain bikes.
4. Jayco Hummingbird RB
Jayco’s Hummingbird is a small, lightweight camper that includes a slide-out for a roomier feel.

There is a permanent bed along with a kitchenette and dining area that converts to a sleeping space. This curved camper design includes an optional outdoor grill and a flat-screen TV.

The 17RB model has a rear dry bath for those who want the convenience of a traditional bathroom without it having to be a wet bath.
5. Lance 1575 Travel Trailer
This Lance model also features a dinette slide-out to create more living space. Even at a light 2775 pounds, the skylights and large windows give the effect of a much larger travel trailer.

An awning, exterior speakers, and LED lighting extend the living area to the great outdoors.
The tiny dry bath includes a tub that is perfect for the kiddos or pets. The shower is equipped with an adjustable slide bar to move the showerhead for varied heights and for a firm grip when getting in and out of the tub.

6. Little Guy Max
The Little Guy Max may be short on length but not on style and functionality. The 2-burner stovetop comes with a safety glass lid for increased counter space when not in use.

There is a permanent queen sleeping area complete with entertainment center along with a dinette that converts to a single bed. 100% hardwood light-colored cabinets create a sleek design.

For those wanting to go off-roading, this model can be upgraded to heavy-duty tires and a 2.5-inch axle riser. This wet bath is generously sized for most at 6′ 2″ tall.
7. Forest River r-pod 180
The 20 foot r-pod 180 has one of the largest bathrooms of the seven. Adding to the space, this Forest River travel trailer comes with a slide to create an open concept feel.

A unique feature of this camper is the Azdel composite panels. This blend of polypropylene and fiberglass creates an environmentally-friendly wall that is lightweight, water-resistant, and temperature-resistant.

There is a generous amount of space in this rear dry bath. This bathroom also includes a shelf and two cabinets for storage which you won’t find in most other small campers.
For your kid, you don’t need to purchase another toilet now. 2-piece toilets are more affordable than 1-piece models. Decorating your bathroom is quite personal, and you have to make certain that you pick the most suitable flushing toilet.
I didn’t notice any prices on them
I didn’t either. Betcha have to talk with a dealer to learn prices.
bought our Casita Spirit Deluxe two years ago and have been extremely happy with it! We are older and appreciate the completeness of accomodation, the ease of towing, the low maintenance of the fiberglass trailer. We got the higher axle and larger tires for more backroad accessibility. Put 10K miles on in our first trip. Very pleased. Great to have minimal set up when arriving in camp. We opted for the furnace, and the awning as well.
Have been looking into Casitas and would love to know what would say are all the pros and cons
to owning one? We have never traveled in an RV or trailer, and want to learn what we can before we retire and want to live full time in ours and travel the country. Appreciate any advice or info you can share.
Thank you for this info! I’m retiring in a year and I want to travel in a small camper and really enjoy the great outdoors!
