Don’t Miss The Ultimate RV & Van Build-Out Event

A five-day event is coming up this fall to showcase the ultimate RV, skoolie, and van build-out competition. Gutted is inviting RVers to camp out and watch as three teams led by popular YouTubers go head-to-head in competing to create the best custom build.

The teams will be provided with a “gutted” vehicle, along with the materials and appliances needed to create their build. When attendees are not watching the renovation competition, they’re encouraged to build out their own rigs too.

When & where

The five-day event will be held from September 8-12, 2021 on a private property in Alamosa, Colorado, near the beautiful Blanca Peak and Great Sand Dunes. There is lots to see and do in the area including hiking, biking, and sandboarding.

What to expect

Tickets are $150 a person for the Early Bird Pricing and $175 general admission beginning August 1st. Ages 15 & under are free. If they run out of space on the private property, there is additional parking available on nearby BLM land.

  • A boondocking site for 5 days and 4 nights on their private property, in a great location near Blanca Peak, one of Colorado’s highest summits, and Great Dunes National Park. The spaces will also include outdoor seating areas.
  • The opportunity to renovate your RV as well! Their sponsors in attendance may be offering discounts on materials and appliances while others may be able to assist in your RV or van build-out.
  • Those with renovated RVs may also get the chance to show off their custom builds.
  • There will be panel discussions throughout the week where visitors can get tips on renovations and mobile living, as well as questions answered by the experts.
  • The chance to meet some of your favorite RV travel influencers from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Group trips will be planned to the nearby Great Sand Dunes National Park, Blanca Peak, or Zapata Falls.
  • Attendees will be listed in the credits of the TV show.
  • Morning yoga with Summer Ginther.

  1. One of your workshops should be “How to clean up your campsite before you leave” where you teach everyone “Leave your campsite cleaner than you found it.”

It would do our public lands a lot of good to have that motto taught to new campers.

Respecting nature, being considerate of neighboring campers and keeping the noise down are all part of the camping experience and are vital aspects of the public’s stewardship of public land.

  2. Much like many of my retired RV’r friends & family, we are limited in income and I feel that it is rediculous that you would charge $ 150. to attend this function.
Somebody should have a blog for us that have limited income and yet can still ” make it happen “
