Gas prices are soaring, and more and more people are looking for ways to save on fuel. While some are turning to gas station reward programs, membership programs, and credit card rewards, these things really aren’t enough to offset the huge price hikes. This leaves us all wishing for a gas rebate, a dream that, believe it or not, can actually come true this summer if you play your cards right!
You see, one of the ways people are saving on gas right now is by not using it, or at least using less of it. This means cutting back on unnecessary driving by walking, biking, or taking the bus or train to get around town, along with canceling road trips entirely.
Obviously, RV trips fall in the camp of unnecessary gas usage—RVs aren’t exactly known for their great gas mileage—and RV rental companies like RVshare are almost certainly feeling the bitter result.
A lack of rentals is never a good thing for an RV rental company like RVshare, and lower booking rates can be especially hard to stomach after the incredible number of RV rentals the company sent out in 2020 and 2021. Therefore, in order to keep bookings coming, the peer-to-peer rental company is offering a gas rebate to anyone who rents an RV through their service this season.
It’s simple: Rent through RVshare and get some of your gas expenses covered by the company!
Of course, there are some nitty-gritty details that you will want to know. We’ll dive into those below.
Before you book, you might want to know a bit about the company you’re booking through. This is totally understandable.
RVshare is a well-reviewed peer-to-peer RV rental company with awesome motorhomes, trailers, and campervans available to rent from RV-loving individuals all across the country. It’s one of the best places to look if you’re hoping to join the RVing movement but can’t afford to have an RV of your own just yet.
We’re confident you’ll find an RV through RVshare that will suit you in whichever area(s) you plan to explore across the US, and this gas rebate will help make those experiences more affordable!
Dates to remember
First things first; it’s important that you book your trip within the promotion date range. This means you’ll want your travel to begin anytime between June 15th and August 15, 2022. As long as you travel between these dates, you will be eligible for the gas rebate.
No minimum mileage
Many people wonder if they’ll need to drive a certain number of miles in order to get the gas rebate. The answer is no, you don’t. There is no minimum mileage requirement, meaning that you could even take a lovely staycation in your RV rental and you’d still receive a rebate!
The amount to expect
Wondering what kind of rebate we’re talking about? Admittedly, it isn’t a huge amount, but with gas prices like these, anything helps, right?
Those who rent for five or fewer days will get a $25 gift card. Meanwhile, those who book a trip that is six days or longer will receive a $50 gift card.
Fill out the form
In order to receive the rebate, renters must fill out the online form on this page. The form must be submitted within 7 days of travel and must be complete. Those who fail to submit their completed form on time will not be sent a gift card, so do not skip this important step!
Watch your email
After submitting your form, be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox. Your rebate will be sent as a digital gift card via email. It may be sent right away, but could take a while to arrive. (As with anything of this nature, check your spam inbox as well, just in case your email service incorrectly flags it.)
In any case, you should have your gift card in hand and ready to spend within 12 weeks, in most cases.
Travel more, get more
While you can only submit one form per RV rental—don’t try to be tricky with secondary email addresses, RVshare is watching for this—you may be eligible for more than one rebate if you rent more than one time this season. If you were hoping to take a few different weekend trips, be sure to take advantage of multiple gas rebates!
What are you waiting for? There isn’t a whole lot of time left to take advantage of this offer, and you have to get out there and make those memories while summer is still around. Try renting from RVShare today!
