See Inside The New Fiberglass Travel Trailers From Happier Camper

Happier Camper, manufacturers of the popular HC1, have introduced a second model to their lineup of fiberglass travel trailers: the 2020 Traveler.

At 17 feet long, the fully equipped Traveler is longer than its predecessor; it’s also a bit heavier with a dry weight around 1800 lbs (as compared to the HC1 at 1100 lbs). The Traveler has about 85 square feet of walkable space inside and features their Adaptiv semi-modular interior system that allows you to rearrange the layout in minutes depending on your needs.

The 2020 Traveler

Much like their HC1 travel trailer, the lightweight Traveler can be towed by most vehicles including most standard cars, vans, SUVs, and Jeeps. It is likewise constructed of 100% fiberglass double hull shells, custom hardware, and durable components that can be configured on-the-go.

The Traveler has all the comforts of home combined into one innovative design. It features a full kitchenette and bathroom as well as all-season insulation for full-timers. The trailers also come with 17-gallon fresh water and gray water tanks, a plumbed or dry flush toilet, and an optional black water tank.

A customizable interior

Happier Camper raises the bar with their modular design in both the HC1 and their new Traveler. The interior components have so much versatility: they can easily be arranged on the honeycomb floor grid as an office, dining area, bedroom, or lounging space.

These lightweight pieces can be stacked, rearranged, or even double as storage. Wrap-around shelves in the camper also provide extra space to store essentials.

“Happier Camper envisioned the Traveler to have longevity, lightness, and versatility in one comfortable package,” They share on their website. “Many of our modular components perform double-duty as indoor-outdoor furniture.”

The 2020 Traveler comes in four packages

The 2020 Traveler is available in four options, including the Base, Starter, Comfort, and Premium Packages.

The upgraded Premium option includes a full solar package with a controller and inverter, a crank-out awning, 8 modular cubes, a full-size luxury mattress topper, and 2 patio bases. The minimal Base camper does not include the modular components, but can be used as a blank canvas to build out your own trailer.

With five panoramic windows, the Traveler allows plenty of natural light and airflow inside the camper, and makes it easy to enjoy the views from your campsite.

The Starter Package comes with 4 modular cubes as well as all the cushions and floor panels needed. The Comfort Package takes it a step further with twice as many cubes, along with a full bathroom and solar but no inverter.

The 2020 Traveler starts around $34,950 for the Base package and $39,950 for the Starter. The trailer is offered in several exterior colors including Pacific Blue, Bishop Red, Turquoise, Pismo Sand, Forest Green, Silver Lake Gray, and Mojave Sage.
