#16. Cherry Plain State Park

This park seems to have its center around enjoying the outdoors. There is 175 acres and a beautiful sandy beach to enjoy. The beach is called Black River Pond, and it includes a bathhouse and a comfort station not too far away.

Not only can you enjoy the beach but there is also multiple hiking, biking and nature trails that also double for cross-country skiing in the winter. The park overall has 10 trailer sites, 10 lakeside tent sites, and 10 tent sites that you can hike, too.

Their policy on pets is that they need to be household pets only, they need to be either caged or on a leash no longer than 6 feet. You will also have to provide evidence of rabies vaccination. There is also a two-pet limit.

This camping resort is not as traditional when it comes to the activities they offer for their campers. There is laser tag, crafts on the daily, mini golf, themed weekends, and hiking trails. You are bound to have fun participating in one of these activities.
