Don’t Miss These Upcoming RV Shows In Texas

Let’s check out what the great state of Texas is offering when it comes to RV shows to kick off the new year.

1. Houston Boat, Sport & Travel Show

Known as the “largest indoor show for outdoor adventures,” the Houston Boat, Sport & Travel Show has been coming to town for 65 years – so you know this ain’t their first rodeo!

Check out all your favorite outside toys, including our favorite: the RV. Plus they have boats, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, golf carts, marine accessories, fishing equipment, and any other outdoor fun you can imagine!

2. Southeast Texas Boat, Sport & RV Show

Head straight from the Houston Boat, Sport & Travel Show to another incredible show just down the road in Beaumont. Not only does the Southeast Texas Boat, Sport & RV Show offer over 200,000 square feet of recreational vehicle heaven, but tickets also include entry to the Golden Triangle Home & Garden Show!

Not only can you check out brand new 2022 campers of all shapes and sizes, but there are also tons of hunting and fishing highlights here as well.

Check out live shows of bass lures in action at the “World’s Largest Mobile Aquarium,” a 5000-gallon tank with glass walls. Or bring your kids to the “Famous Fish-O-Rama,” an indoor pond where children can try to snag some rainbow trout. There’s also a display of some of the largest white-tailed deer, including the “Hole In The Horn Buck.”

3. Houston RV Show

Now this is a Texas-sized RV show! Come to check out hundreds of the latest models and state-of-the-art technology that’s emerging in 2022. 

The Houston RV Show offers much more than just RV dealers. Each year they offer free seminars on a variety of RV life topics, plus a Q&A so you get get your questions answered. This year they’ll be offering free camping caps to the first 1000 visitors on Saturday, plus a daily appearance from a very special guest, Yogi Bear!

  • Dates: February 9 – 12, 2022
  • Location: NRG Center, Houston, Texas

4. Midessa Boat, RV, Sport & Gun Show

Leave it to the folks in Midland/Odessa to take their RV show up one more level of Texan! As well as all the usual suspects like boats and RVs, this Texas RV show comes with its own gun show as well.

On top of boats and RVs, you’ll also find a variety of booths offering ATVs, motorcycles, veteran services, resorts, women’s apparel, jewelry, home decor, fishing and hunting guides, and safari guides. This show has something for absolutely everyone!

  • Location: Ector County Coliseum, Odessa, Texas
  • Price: Adults $7; Kids 3 – 11 $3; Seniors $5

5. Austin RV Expo

For those of you located in Central Texas, the Austin RV Expo is the best Texas RV show for you! With all of the local Central Texas dealers in attendance, there will be no shortage of the latest and greatest RV models for you to check out.

Austin RV Expo hosts two shows every year: this one, and the Austin RV Super Sale in the fall, which serves as a model year closeout sale. These shows offer great incentives on new RVs with deals like Camper Clinic, Princess Craft RV, Crestview RV, and more. Heading into its 15th year, this show attracts more and more guests each year. Make sure to mark your schedule so you can get in on the action!

  • Location: Austin Convention Center, Austin, Texas

6. Dallas RV Super Sale

Head up to Dallas Market Hall for the “Largest RV Show in the Southwest!” With exhibition space stretching over 350,000 square feet, tons of North Texas’ best RV dealers will pack in for this show.

This Texas RV show is another great event for those interested in more than just shopping for the newest toys that manufacturers have to offer. (Although there will definitely be no shortage of that!)

They also offer daily seminars for those full-time RVers and weekend warriors.

  • Dates: February 24 – 27, 2022
  • Location: Dallas Market Hall, Dallas, Texas
  • Price: Adults $15; Kids 6 – 12 $7; Seniors 60+ $10 (Senior special on Thursday and Friday only)

  1. The Dallas RV Sale/show has a problem. There are many dealers who sell the same manufacturer, so you may find row after row of the same model. With the high cost per square foot of floor space, often the dealers will not bring smaller RV’s.
