Airbnb is chock-full of adorable little cottages, studio apartments in the city, and beachfront chalets, but not everyone knows that you can also rent RVs. Some of the most unique rentals on the site are actually on wheels!

1. Farmhouse On Wheels – Eatonton, Georgia

We all remember riding the big yellow bus to school as kids, but have you ever imagined camping in one? Once you head inside this “farmhouse on wheels,” you’ll totally forget that you’re inside a school bus. 

Hosts John and Fin have remodeled this short bus into a gorgeous French-inspired tiny home. Despite the luxury vibes, you’ll still feel like you’re off the grid, nestled in the woods, just a short drive to Lake Oconee.

2. The Lil’ Red Caboose On The Creek – Bryson City, North Carolina

Is it a train or is it a camper? It’s both! This super rare “caboose camper” is one of only 800 made back in the ’70s. A truly one-of-a-kind experience, this camper is tucked up next to a creek only about a mile away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The property comes with everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors, like a private deck, charcoal grill, fire pit, and hammocks. Host Gina kept the ’70s charm on the interior, but you still have everything you need to make your stay comfortable including running water.

3. Groovy Scooby Bus – Panama City Beach, Florida

Zoinks! We’re continuing to make our childhood dreams come true as we check out our third unique RV Airbnb. This Scooby-Doo-inspired 1973 VW bus will bring out your inner hippie vibes.

This vintage Volkswagon Westfalia, including the pop-up camper on top, is only minutes from the beach and Lake Powell, the largest coastal lake in Florida. Along with the cozy van where you can sleep, there’s a chill-out area and outdoor shower. Let your flower child flag fly and get the van life experience in Joseph’s groovy, hippie bus.

4. Airstream with a Hot Tub – Culver City, California

Imagine a luxury Airstream trailer, dropped into a lush jungle, in the middle of the city. That’s exactly what you’ll find at Tosca and Edo’s California dream Airstream! This 2017 trailer gives you vintage vibes with modern finishes and amenities.

Although this RV Airbnb isn’t far from Venice Beach, you could happily just stay right in your own little personal garden. You’ll have access to a private Jacuzzi and chill-out area for a relaxing stay in the big city.

5. Camp G.R.I.T.S. Camper – Crosby, Tennessee

We’re heading back to the Smokies and back even further in time to 1959 to this adorable little vintage camper. “Bonanza Jellybean” as it is lovingly called by host Rosie, is surrounded by lush forest and sweet gum trees.

Enjoy cooking your dinner on an open fire with wood you forage from the area, and then get cozy and snuggle up in soft vintage linen at night. The camper has an outhouse as well as a propane stove, heater, and small fan.

6. Iconic 1974 Airstream on an Organic Ranch – Carpinteria, California

This RV Airbnb has nearly 200 five-star reviews, so you can imagine that this property delivers! It is located on a small, family-owned, organic ranch that’s just a short drive from the beach town of Carpinteria.

Host Delia restored the Airstream and decorated it with a subtle ranch aesthetic on the inside. It’s equipped with a queen bed, a full kitchen, and all the amenities you’ll need for a comfortable stay. Outside you’ll find a private patio and rustic landscaping, including a small avocado orchard.

7. Ruby RV Airbnb– Cibolo, Texas

The stars are big and bright deep in the heart of Texas! This is the perfect RV Airbnb to snuggle up and stargaze while you veg out by the campfire. It’s located in Olliewoods Oasis, which has two other sites to choose from (another caravan or a teepee).

This cute little Texas camper is the perfect place to come and relax. Paula, your host, offers an outdoor shower, yard games, bicycles, a campfire area, hammocks, and a volleyball court. There is also a nearby nature park and nature trails for hiking or birdwatching.

8. Adorable Airstream with Beautiful Mountain View – El Prado, New Mexico

Holy smokes, does this property have some incredible views! There are mountain views as well as tons of nearby activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, or visiting the local hot springs. The Airstream comes with all the modern amenities you need including a tankless water heater, so you can shower for as long as you’d like.

9. “Tow-tally Peachy”– Tucker, Georgia

This funky, Georgia-themed fifth wheel is completely renovated on the inside and decorated with funky art on the outside. Inside the most spacious RV Airbnb on our list, you’ll feel like you’re in a city apartment, with a full kitchen, dining area, and queen-sized bed.

The outside of the camper has been painted with a unique mural that shows some of the best of Atlanta. There is also a lovely outdoor area to hang, equipped with cornhole, giant Jenga, and a fire pit. Host Lauren loves to meet her guests and help make your stay as comfortable as possible.

10. Unique Glamping RV on 100 Acres – Blackstock, Ontario

Another fun RV Airbnb that will tickle our inner child’s fancy! This property and the retro motorhome sitting on it were both featured in the film Fly Away Home. You know, the heart-touching one where Bill Lishman helped his geese babies learn to fly and migrate.

The GMC motorhome has been refinished keeping the original wooden charm and features everything you need for a couple of nights camping. The screened-in porch will protect you from the bugs and the fire pit will keep you warm at night. There is also plenty of hiking or mountain biking trails to explore around the property.
