Luxury RV Features Elevator To Second Floor
SAIC Motors is literally taking RVs to the next level with its latest model, a two-story dream on wheels with elevator access to boot.
The Maxus Life Home V90 Villa Edition RV is a deluxe, medium-sized Class C motorhome. It expands upwards and outwards with the help of slide-out walls and a powered pop-top extension. Designed and manufactured in China, the cutting-edge luxury RV is an aspirational flagship in the RV industry, bringing technology, compactness, modern design, and recreation together.
Take a virtual walk around the unit in the clip below.
First floor of the luxury RV
The main living area is located on the lower level. With the dual sidewall slide-outs, the floor space measures 215 square feet. This space houses the kitchen, living room, sleeping space, bathroom, elevator, and cockpit.
The main focal points are the kitchen and lounge area. The kitchen has a cooktop, oven, sink, and fridge. An L-shaped corner sofa takes up most of the lounge. A transparent OLED TV is strategically placed in front of a window, so you can still enjoy the views outside. The space comes complete with a JBL home theatre system and a ceiling-mounted projection system.
The alcove above the driver’s cabin is the main sleeping area. Both the downstairs lounge sofa and upstairs benched could be additional sleeping options. A bathroom and shower combo and the elevator are located in the rear of the RV, behind the kitchen.
Other notable amenities include LED lighting throughout the unit and a washing machine. An RV smart system controls all of the electronics and amenities in the living area and cockpit utilizing wall-mounted touchscreen interfaces, voice and gesture controls, and mobile devices.
Elevator to the top
The single-person elevator provides a more convenient alternative to access the second floor. There’s no need for climbing up a sidewall ladder or steep staircase to the top. This can be very beneficial for individuals with mobility issues who aren’t able to climb a ladder. The elevator may be inaccessible for anyone needing mobility equipment aids with its cramped quarters.
Second floor of the luxury RV
The Villa Edition’s oversized roof section hides a second-story sunroom and walk-out balcony. This top section expands to full height at the press of a button.
The near-floor-to-ceiling glass walls can be electronically tinted using LCD technology for added privacy. The multipurpose space can be a dining area, office, yoga studio, you name it. The 133-square-foot space offers extraordinary vantage points with uninterrupted views of your surroundings.
