Get A First Look At The 2021 EarthCruiser Terranova

Earthcruiser, a leading manufacturer of overland vehicles like the EarthCruiser EXP and FX, recently debuted the new Terranova to their lineup of expedition campers. The EC Terranova is set to be smaller and lighter than their previous models, to make it easier to go off-the-beaten-path while still equipped with all the comforts of home.

According to EarthCruiser, the new EC Terranova will be available on a 2020+ Ford F350, RAM 3500, or Silverado 3500 base chassis. The 4×4 all-season cab-over camper will comfortably transport about four people and be able to easily pull a boat, trailer, or toy hauler.

“Because of our years of design experience, we are able to fit all required systems and a generous living space into a sleek, aerodynamic design,” They detail on their website. “This avoids the bulky, boxy look of most other ‘expedition’ truck bed campers on the market. Interior living space is designed to maximize space, comfort, and usability and borrows from our products that have been proven in extreme remote situations all over the world.”

The EC Terranova will feature many of the same systems (such as electrical, plumbing, and mechanical) that have proven to be successful in their previous models. It will be fully equipped for off-grid camping with a solar controller and monitoring system with 108-watt Sunflare solar panels and a 12V Lithium house battery (400aH).

The Earthcruiser Terranova – Interior features

The interior has several highlights, including easy-to-clean fiberglass surfaces and comfortable dinette bench seats with leather cushions and integrated storage.

The galley will feature a premium one-piece countertop, induction cooktop, stainless steel sink, and a 12V stainless steel refrigerator and freezer. They have also integrated loads of storage into the design including cooktop and sinktop storage, underbed storage cubbies, and a kitchen pantry.

Earthcruiser has also added a small bathroom in the Terranova design. It will come with a stainless steel sink basin, full height shower with a retractable shower curtain, and a showerhead-sink faucet combo. It will also house a Thetford cassette toilet that can be recessed when not in use.

The water system includes a Shurflo fresh water pump as well as a purification system for fresh drinking water. The exterior will feature a hot and cold water shower, as well as a purified drinking water faucet.

In addition, the EC Terranova will come with an innovative gray water closed circuit recycling system. This system will use 3 different types of carbon filters, a UV filter, and an electric hot water tank. According to Earthcruiser, this system will significantly reduce the power required to take a hot shower by cycling the already heated water through the filtration system and back out the showerhead.
