Airstream Has A Sleek New Interior Décor In Their 2021 International Travel Trailer
As technology has advanced, so too have the inner workings and gadgets on RVs. One thing the RV industry seems to not be up-to-date on is the interior color and material design of many RVs, especially in the travel trailer realm. They usually have a lot of browns, wood patterns, and fake pine or walnut stained cabinets. The walls of some RVs look like a 1970s wallpaper store had an outdoor pattern sale.
Airstream travel trailers are known for their distinctive shape and shiny exterior. That unique exterior design probably isn’t going to change anytime soon, but the interior of the 2021 International Coastal Cove has a fresh new design.
The kitchen is stylish and functional.
The Coastal Cove has a pleasing bright color palette. The cabinets have a beach wood appearance with lots of white and granite patterned countertops. The entire kitchen fits perfectly with the polished aluminum frame of the Airstream. The residential-style Moen® faucet with a pull-out hose completes the kitchen, which also has a three-burner stove, microwave, and gas stove.
There are multiple floor plans to choose from.
For those familiar with Airstream’s International Signature and International Serenity models, you know that though they look the same outside, the two models had contrasting interiors. The newest iteration is a consolidated version simply called “International.”
That doesn’t mean buyers won’t have a choice in the length or floorplan. According to Airstream.com, “the Coastal Cove decor is available in the 23CB, 23FB, 25RB, 25FB, 27FB, 28RB, and 30RB floor plans.”
You can choose between two seating material options.
For all floorplans and sizes, the doors, tabletops, pillows, drawers, flooring, fixtures, and countertops will be aesthetically the same. Customers will get a choice of two upholstery colors: Coastal Cove with Aqua Ultraleather or Coastal Cove with Seashell Ultraleather.
The Aqua Ultraleather has a light blue color while the Seashell is more of a creamy white. Both options are very light and easy to look at.
Natural light plays a big roll in the design.
Panoramic windows in the bedroom and living areas allow for natural light to illuminate the space, giving the trailer a roomy feel and great views.
The light colors and materials used in the overhead lockers also reflect that natural light, so it reaches every area of the trailer. Blackout curtains come equipped on the windows when sleep or privacy is desired as well.
